USAID/Ghana is seeking a qualified and highly motivated individual to serve as an Implementing Partner Support Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to serve as a Support Coordinator for USAID Contractor organizations in the USAID Ghana Operations Support Unit. The job holder assists the representatives of contractor organizations in coordinating with Government Ghana agencies for the purpose importing and exporting official commodities and shipments. The job holder also serves as liaison between USAID Ghana and contractor organizations on administrative and logistical issues related to their stay in Ghana. A minimum of two years of full-time post-secondary study at a college or university in Logistics Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Port and Shipping Administration is required. Must be at holder of the Customs House Agent License or Certification. Prior experience required is at least five years of progressively responsible experience in shipping, transportation, customs and clearance.
This position is open to Ghanaian citizens and individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence in Ghana. The job location is Accra, Ghana. No relocation expenses are authorized for this position.
Market Value: This position has been classified at FSN-8 on the U.S. Embassy salary scale. The annual salary range is between USD $16,735.00 and USD $25,939.00* and is paid bi-weekly in Ghanaian Cedis.
**Conversions are made at the most favorable rate legally available to the United States Government (USG), as determined by the International Currency Exchange (ICE) managed by the Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS). This policy is reviewed regularly and a future change may establish salaries in Ghanaian Cedis that are not linked to exchange rates.
